CORK is thrilled to be hosting the 2016 Laser Canadian Championship, the CORK International Optimist Regatta, and the CORK International Board Regatta! During this event, we have welcomed 71 Radial Laser, 48 Standard Lasers, 7 Laser 4.7’s, 163 Optimists, and 18 Boards. There are over 450 sailors, coaches and supporters on site!
After a slow start to the day, the wind finally switched around to the classic Kingston thermal direction allowing the wind to build throughout the day. Tight points amongst the leaders meant that everything was on the line and after a great day of racing, the final results are:
